MARTYN ASHTON - Mountain Biker & Presenter

One of the biggest personalities in mountain biking, former World Champion Mountain Bike Trials Rider - and still the Guinness World Record holder for the highest stationary jump on a mountain bike - Martyn Ashton was already a legend of the sport before his 2012 ‘Road Bike Party’ video, and its sequel, propelled him to even greater prominence. 

Despite a life-changing back-breaking accident in 2013, Martyn has continued to explore what’s possible on a bike, capably demonstrating how resilience, determination, overcoming adversity and adapting to new circumstances can be applied to a wide variety of different situations, whether you’re looking to motivate colleagues or inspire school pupils.

Martyn retains a high-profile in mountain biking, is a leading presenter for Warner/Discovery’s Global Mountain Bike Network (GMBN) and continues to find ways to enjoy mountain biking and look for amazing experiences to break boundaries as a wheelchair user.
