John Beatty is one of the UK’s most exciting and stimulating nature, travel and adventure photographers. His assignments have taken him from the spectacular volcanic eruptions on Iceland to the teeming wildlife of East Africa, the wonder of the Galapagos Islands and the peaks of all the Greater Ranges. 

Whether rafting down the Colorado River of the Grand Canyon, filming the volcanic eruption in Iceland, or celebrating round a campfire with primitive Kalahari Bushmen, John’s stories leave his audiences infused with energy and wonder at the beauty of our planet.

Over the past 30 years, John has ventured to 38 countries, returning with stories of his experiences of the wilderness which few have encountered. He has been to the Himalayas, the Pacific Islands, East Africa, the American Deserts, the Galapagos Islands and the Andes, Namibia, Alaska, the European Alps and has photographed almost all the wild land locations in Britain, from the windswept tors of Cornwall to white strands of the Outer Hebrides.
