Quite simply, the greatest male downhill racer of all time in terms of race wins, Greg Minnaar is one of the most recognisable and influential mountain bikers on the planet, with a continuing race career that spans more than two decades at the very top of the sport. From his first World Cup race win in 2001, to his most recent World Championship in 2021, Greg is always pushing for the win and frequently stakes his claims on the podium spots

Greg has raced for the Santa Cruz Syndicate since 2008 and is partnered with Fox, Crank Bros, Maxxis, O’Neal, Oakley and Chris King. He also owns a bike shop in his home town of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, and often works with charitable organisations where mountain biking is involved. Greg is the mountain bike rider representative on the UCI and a proponent of mountain biking across the globe
