Mark Beaumont Tour The Man who Cycled the Americas

This week, cyclist Mark Beaumont hit the road again, beginning his first ever UK tour with his show The Man who Cycled the World.

After a sell-out opening night in Durham on Tuesday, Mark has so far travelled to Chesterfield, Bolton and Halifax and will be appearing in Morecambe and Hayes, Middlesex this weekend.

Just four weeks ago, Mark reached Ushuaia in Argentina, the most southerly point of the Americas after cycling for 268 days over 13,000 mile along the entire length of the American continent.  After 9 months on the road, which included a few weeks off the bike to climb the conitnent's two highest peaks, Mt McKinley (Denali) in Alasaka and Aconcagua in Argentina, Mark arrived back home utterly exhausted.
