Triple world record breaker Sarah Outen has become the fifthteenth speaker to join our growing portfolio of speakers.
In August 2009, she became the the first woman and youngest person in the world to row solo across the Indian Ocean. In just 124 days, Sarah rowed 4000 miles from Australia to Mauritius, becoming only the 8th woman in the world ever to have rowed solo on the high seas.

The Great Himalaya Trail is the longest and highest alpine walking track in the world. At 1300hrs on the 18th January 2010, after 60 days and 1700km, professional explorer, adventurer and speaker Mark Kalch completed a solo trek across the Islamic Republic of Iran from its northern border on the Caspian Sea to its southerly border in the Persian Gulf.
Beginning in the coastal city of Chalus, he crossed the Alborz Mountains heading south to the capital Tehran, before continuing south-west to Qom, Esfahan, through the Zagros Mountains, and onto the Persian Gulf at Bushehr.
At 15.25 (UK time) on Thursday 18th February 2010, Mark Beaumont completed his second solo-cycle challenge. He arrived at Ushuaia in Argentina after cycling over 13 000 miles through 12 countries, also stopping along the way to climb the two highest peaks on the American continent.

Adventurer Mark Beaumont reached the 6,962 metres (22,841 ft) high summit of Aconcagua in Argentina at 2.55 pm (5.55 pm GMT) today after ten days of climbing.
Located in the Andes mountain range, Cerro Aconcagua is the highest mountain in the Americas, and the highest mountain outside Asia. Although not technically difficult, Mark and his team had to deal with the debilitating effects of climbing at altitude, with the last 100m being particularly gruelling.
