Twice a year we organise a series of events in theatres, arts centres and concert halls throughout the UK - here's what we have coming up this Winter/Spring 2010....

Tim Emmett is one of the world’s top extreme sports athletes specialising in rock & ice climbing, Deep water soloing and B.A.S.E. Jumping. In the last couple of years, Tim has become known for his ‘Para Alpinism’ – climbing a big mountain and then B.A.S.E jumping off in a wing-suit, flying to the ground reaching speeds of up to 250 MPH!
Internationally acclaimed photographer John Beatty has been touring with his audio-visual show Wild Vision since October 2009. John's tour was set to end in Brecon on the 8th February, but following the success of the first leg of his tour, the Kendal Brewery Arts Centre asked if they could add Wild Vision to their spring programme.
Internationally acclaimed alpinist, mountain photographer and film-maker Ian Parnell talks about his incredible life spent climbing some of the most audacious routes in the world.
Everest mountaineer Kenton Cool will be giving a public talk at the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle this February. This fundraising talk, which is jointly in aid of the local Mountain Rescue team and the school's newly established Outdoor Pursuits Group, is being organised by sixth form pupils at the school.
Best selling author and climber Andy Kirkpatrick will be appearing at the Pitlochry Winter Words festival to talk about writing Cold Wars, the follow up to his award winning autobiography Psychovertical. Using extracts from the book, images and video, Andy talks about his adventurous expeditions to some of the coldest mountains on the planet.
Andy Kirkpatrick will be giving a talk for Hinckley Mountaineering Club next week entitled So you want to climb El Cap; ten tips on how to make that a reality. For those of you who don't know, Andy has climbed El Capitan in Yosemite 14 times, most recently to help injured service man Phil Packer on his fundraising climb and most notably when he completed a 12 day solo ascent of the mighty Reticent Wall.
In March 2010, Mark Beaumont will be setting out on a tour of 38 venues around the UK with his show The Man who Cycled the World, presented by Speakers from the Edge in association with WildFox Events. The tour is also kindly sponsored by The SaltireFoundation, Koga Miyata and Active Earth.
