Best selling author and climber Andy Kirkpatrick will be appearing at the Pitlochry Winter Words festival to talk about writing Cold Wars, the follow up to his award winning autobiography Psychovertical. Using extracts from the book, images and video, Andy talks about his adventurous expeditions to some of the coldest mountains on the planet. Described by Zoo magazine as “entertaining, funny and a bit mental”, Andy is a top British mountaineer, big-wall climber and winter expedition specialist, who has soloed some of the most difficult routes in the world.
